2021 was another BIG year both for the family and the Country.
The Country hasn’t been more divided since the Civil War. There are deep religious, cultural, and philosophical divisions.
Seth and Michelle were married in May. Beto, Heidi, and Russ traveled to Bryan, Texas for the wedding.
These “Christmas” pages have proved to be useful to me as I frequently refer to them to “recall” and associate events with their respective year.
So, Let’s take a look at 2021.
We drove to D.C. in January to see the Left’s over-reaction to the January 6 riots. Did they EVER have such a reaction to the OTHER 300 riots in a dozen U.S. cities in 202? No, instead they endorsed those anarchist-inspired (“mostly peaceful demonstrations”) riot.
Every Tuesday our Small Group meets to study the Word of God and share our lives. There is a lot to be said for the value of meeting and growing together in fellowship with “one another.”
Heidi and Pat worked hard in the Vacation Bible School kitchen!

In early May, Heidi and Russ traveled to a show at Katy, TX and had an opportunity to meet Michelle.
Michelle, Seth, and Russ worked hard at the show. Heidi sat around through most of it.
Seth and Michelle were engaged on March 7 and …
…and were married on May 15th. After the ceremony they honeymooned in San Antonio.
Earl had a remote learning opportunity to see the ceremony.
Heidi and Russ played several rounds during 2021. Heidi took a few lessons with Jerry and made great improvements.
Russ got together with Curl, Pete, and Josh.

Heidi and Russ enjoyed a meal with Paul and Theresa in August.
We traveled to Ohio for a show. We had a great time on the road, visiting places in West Virginia and Pittsburgh.
We started taking weekly dance lessons in the Fall. Swing, Foxtrot, Rumba, and Cha Cha with Jason – a GREAT instructor!
Something got into the rec room wall. Russ had to repair and replace the ceiling and some of the walls.
After the renovation, we had the pool table recovered.
Russ got stuck in the woods. Squirrel came and saved the day by driving downhill!
We had a fun Christmas dinner and a light show with Jim and Lora in Herndon.
We all enjoyed a nice Christmas dinner with Earl at Baugher’s restaurant.
We went to the O.C. light show after dinner with Chris, Tracy, and Cole.
